My Favorite Tool - Bobbye West-Thompson

My favorite tool is my scrubby brush (a short brush with stiff bristles) used for removing my mistakes while using a watercolor palette.  It's also helpful that I prefer 300# Arches paper which lends itself to lots of scrubbing, thank heavens!  There are times, of course, that even a scrubby brush doesn't help, in which case I may cut up the paper and use whatever image remains for bookmarks--at least this way I can say I'm still a working artist!

Be sure to visit Bobbye West-Thompson’s Los Osos studio (number 141 in the catalog) during the 2016 Open Studios Art Tour. She will be open the first weekend of the Tour, October 8 & 9.
