Ann Ream was one of many long-time residents of San Luis Obispo, but to most people she is one in a million.  What set Ann apart was her tireless support of Arts in our county and her unwavering advocacy for our artists.  Ann, herself was an art-maker as well as a dancer and a poet.  In addition, as an art champion, she chaired the Art in Public Places Committee for The County Arts Council,(ARTS Obispo) for many years and spoke eloquently from the Public Comment lectern to sway the hearts, minds and pocketbooks in support of the arts.  Many of us artists would not have the careers we do wit
