In My Studio - Christine Cortese

When I paint still-life's, I love to paint them outside with the sun light ; the strong light and shadows create the most beautiful colors.  I set up a table in the garden in the morning light or the late afternoon light not mid day where there's no shadows and have a good time!  My technique is loose and juicy, but doing an underpainting in a very bright colour initially helps to give the flowers a glow.  Come by catalog location #78 and checkout Fineartpaintingsbychristine.com.
