In My Studio - Randy Stromsoe

During the past two years, it seems as though California has honored me in so many ways professionally, that I really wanted to share some of these exciting events with friends and peers in SLO County.

I produced three exact replicas of the coffee pot Quentin Tarantino considered as the 9th character for his recent release, “The Hateful 8.” A frantic call came in around Christmas and I worked day and night to get these done and sent to Telluride in time for the shoot.

If you happen by Cal Poly’s Performing Arts Center, you can see a gorgeous 3D piece award I handcrafted for the International LA GUITARA COMPETITION.

I was honored to display in a two month exhibition of various old-school barware at “Crafting the Cocktail – Craft in America Learning Center and Gallery.”

Things to look forward to in the next year: a PBS documentary in the “Craft in America” series.
